About this speaker
My name is Joel D. Swan. I am the Lead Enrollment Officer for Tougaloo College. Tougaloo is an elite, private, historically black, co-educational, four–year liberal arts institution, located in Tougaloo, Mississippi. In addition to my employment capacity, I am an ambitious Professional, Father, Mentor, Advisor and HBCU graduate (Jackson State University). With my passion for education, it is my duty as an educational liaison, to connect students to a viable collegiate atmosphere and instill personal growth; simultaneously, encompassing the space to give back to a continuous community of students interested in furthering their education.
